Justice is frequently in the background of debates about health care in the US. Is health care a right and is it unjust if some people do not have access to it? Are disparities in health care access fair? Did the recently passed health care reform legislation create a more just system? Dr. Mathis delivered a presentation to the University of Tennessee School of Public Health Graduate Seminar that looks at how some philosophers have applied the idea of justice to health care.
